Our aged relaxed weeks offer the same range of fantastic courses for the older demographic but still young at heart.

These weeks are great for either single people looking for some new ski buddies, group of friends, couples or parents wanting to share ski time with their adult kids (also see our family weeks for younger kids).

UCPA centres are renowned for being very sociable, where like minded people are able to meet and share unique experiences – and this is no different for the age relaxed weeks.

Be warned, these weeks are limited & very popular and they do tend to sell out fast.

The Relaxed Age Weeks are very limited in number. This winter, during the 2025/26 season, the relaxed age week for anyone aged 18-65 will run from the week commencing January 3rd in Les Arcs.

There is a new relaxed age week for half-time ski only in Les Contamines February 7th This week is mixed with family group bookings. Therefore the ages of those staying in the centre will be different to other weeks

UCPA was founded with the aim of getting young people in to sports and the outdoors, all at an affordable price. This is achieved thorough many efficiencies, one of which is the 'multi share' rooms. The rooms can be described as comfortable, warm, and quiet but basic with no frills. Twin rooms are available for an extra fee per person, however twin rooms cannot be booked for just one person.

Bathroom facilities vary from centre to centre, the most common being bedrooms having a sink and a shower ensuite with shared toilets in the corridor. Some centres have all rooms ensuite, others only have twin rooms ensuite, and some centres don't have any ensuite rooms.

UCPA save costs by the guests pitching in and helping out. For example when you arrive you will be provided with clean linen for your bed, but you will have to make it yourself. This little bit of mucking in is what makes UCPA trips such excellent value and a fun experience.

UCPA packages are full board, therefore all meals are included in the advertised price; breakfast, lunch and dinner. As you know the French take a lot of pride in their food and meal times are a special and sociable time, expect no less from the UCPA. Meals are buffet style and there are always a number of different options and courses.

Breakfast options tend to include a number of cereals and muesli options, yogurts, bread, cheese and breakfast drinks.

At most resorts you can return to the UCPA centre for lunch where you will find a few hot meal options, a salad bar, cheese and meat platter and desert.

Dinner usually includes a meat option, fish option and vegetarian alternative. Again there is always a wide variety of mixed salads, meats and cheeses, bread and a desert.

If you have a dietary requirement you are advised to contact UCPA directly before arrival and speak to the chefs on your first day. If you require special food alternatives, such as gluten free bread, we suggest you take your own. These will not be available at the UCPA and it’s unlikely you will find these in resort either. The food is really great at the UCPA and you certainly won't go hungry!

To help keep costs down you are asked to clear your dirty dishes and give the table a wipe when you finish.
