Testimonials

  • In my opinion, UCPA should really stand for something like ‘Unbelievably Cheap, Perfectly Awesome’ because it really is the best way to see the French Alps on a budget.  Or not even on a budget for that matter, because the enthusiasm of the instructors, quality (and quantity!) of the food and genera...

  • The chef at the canteen always tried their hardest to provide varied yet nutritional dishes. The meatballs were simply to die for!!!

  • No matter how hard you try, when you book everything separately (especially with the Euro and price of food at the moment), you will never beat UCPA.

  • We were always encouraged to push ourselves, quite often going off-piste and attempting things we wouldn’t have previously felt capable of.

  • The food is to die for too! A good breakfast with the option of a packed or hot lunch is only the start – crepes are often available on return from a hard days skiing followed by a gourmet dinner...

  • Skiing and snowboarding has always come across as a costly exercise with the expense of chalets, instruction, food and lift passes it was a sport which was beyond my means, and that is what is best about...

  • The instructors always push you to go that extra mile – I even managed to go down the mountain backwards last time! – but are totally cool when you’ve had enough and that vin chaud is calling your name.

  • It’s not just a ski trip, it’s a chance to experience another way of life. I can drink coffee by the bowlful, which feels SO right, practise my rusty French as much I like and eat great food.
