Les Arcs Ski Area
The Les Arcs ski area has a wide range of varied terrain with a little bit of everything for everyone. There are a total of 200km of pistes in the area served by 57 lifts many of which have been recently renovated to provide a quick and comfortable experience. The Les Arcs ski area is also linked to La Plagne to create the massive Paradiski area which has a total of 425km of piste – you automatically have access to a day over in La Plagne but can upgrade your pass on a day by day basis if required.
The backdrop to the ski area is stunning with the full range of alpine scenery, on a clear day you can see Mont Blanc across the valley. With a number of pistes over 2000m there is plenty of snowsure skiing although with a largely west facing aspect conditions can deteriorate quickly with warmer weather. Higher runs on the Aiguilles Rouges tend to be more shaded and conditions remain better for longer. The pisteurs have an excellent reputation for creating perfect pistes even under the hardest conditions and the resort is generally very well groomed.
The Les Arcs lift pass includes 1 day Paradiski. If you want to ski over to La Plagne again, it costs approximately an extra €30 a day.
