Vieux Boucau Port D’Albret is a world class surf destination in France and the perfect spot for those who love their sand, sea and surf. The sports village offers an exceptional setting between lake and ocean – pavilions on the edge of the marine lake scattered in a pine forest, a beautiful swimming pool by the bar, hammocks in the pines, beach volleyball, beach football, basketball, mini ramp, skatepark. A real invitation to sporting holidays, relaxation and rejuvenation.
Many great surf spots along the southern Landes coast
Lac Marin de Port d'Albret, was the first port in ancient history on the Cote d'Argent, but was placed into redundancy in the early 1400s when another larger port was built further north
The town centre is buzzing with cafés, bars, restaurants and shops. There are nearby trails and its 60-hectare marine lake, in the middle of which there is a wooded island, home to many species of birds, forest walks and horse riding is available along the beach.
The centre is made up of small bungalows nestled amongst pine trees, providing a perfect chill out zone after a day chasing the waves. Each has a private terrace hidden in the pine forest, and nearby hammocks, a swimming pool and, just steps away, a fine sandy beach at the edge of the lake.
Located on the beach at the very south of the Landes coast, close to Hossegor and Biarritz, Port d’Albret offers ideal conditions for sports and relaxation, close to the saltwater lake and the ocean.

Due to the cost focussed nature of UCPA and the wide range of dietary requirements, it is impossible to accommodate everyone as standard. If you have any severe dietary requirements please contact the centre two weeks before to let them know. Generally speaking vegetarians will find plenty of options, with vegan options being a little more scarce but improving year on year.

This involves taking 3 busses which will run via Bayonne, Soustons Darrigade and finally to Soustons Pinsolle. You then have a short walk along a cycle track to the Pinsolle golf course which is opposite the UCPA centre. Some Taxis may also be available, the Biarritz Airport website offers some useful information that can help you plan your journey.
Port d'Albret is also accessible via Bordeaux which has more regular flight options from the UK although connecting transport is less available.
The nearest train station to Port d'Albret is Dax, you can also get here from either Biarrtiz or Bourdeux Airport. From Dax you can usually take two connecting busses to reach the UCPA centre.
