UCPA Student Holiday Packages

We've all been there so no one knows better than us that students need to play hard to work hard. Whether it's a way to relax after exams, clear your head before a new term or something to look forward to when it gets tough; time off, away from the books is important. If you have a student card and are aged 18-25 then the UCPA has a huge range of adventure holidays at super low prices for you to pick from.

About UCPA

UCPA packages are perfect for students; aimed specifically at young people aged 18-39 the UCPA provides incredibly cheap activity holidays to top destinations. The UCPA is not for profit which is why the prices are so unbelievably low. Set up to make make adventure sports and quality instruction affordable, it really is perfect for students. If that wasn't enough they have made specific student deals for even less, so even the most broke student can escape the library and enjoy an adventure.

The Package

With a huge number of resorts and sports to choose from, one thing that remains the same is the great all inclusive package:

  • 6 night's accommodation
  • 6.5 days full board (eat as much as you like - always a selling point!)
  • Lift pass (if required)
  • Instruction in your chosen sport
  • All equipment needed for the activity

Accommodation

The UCPA accommodation is basic but very clean, warm, with plenty of hot water and space to relax with friends. The UCPA centres can vary but generally rooms are multi share with 4 or 5 people sharing. Solo travellers will be roomed in single sex rooms and UCPA always try and groups friends together. The centres have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for students taking some time off.

Meals

All meals are prepared at the UCPA by onsite chefs. Meals are buffet style so there are lots of options and as much as you can eat. As you would expect in France meal times are a sociable time with everyone sitting together, enjoying good food and good company.

Instruction

All coaching is provided by instructors qualified through the French system, for many sports this is considered the world's best instructor training. Unlike some sports coaching you may have experienced in the past, the UCPA coaching is relaxed, informal and fun. The instructors are usually really young and up for having a laugh. You spend the whole week with the same group and instructor so you will get to each other well. You will be grouped with others at the same level and with the same amount of experience as yourself so you will be learning at the right pace.

Equipment

All specialist kit required for the sport is provided as part of the package. You are free to bring your own kit; skis, wetsuit, life jacket, harness etc if you prefer of course, but it's not required. The kit is all well maintained and replaced very regularly. You must bring your own personal clothing such as ski outerwear, goggles, gloves, swimming gear and training shoes.
