What makes an Action Outdoors Holiday so good for groups?

Value – this really matters if you are taking a large group skiing. The UCPA centres offer amazing value when working on a budget because it is all inclusive: Lift Pass, Ski / Board Hire, Every Meal, Instruction, Accommodation, it is all in the price. The only extra is your bar bill and travel.

Quality – yes the rooms are simple, but clean, comfortable, warm and have plenty of storage space. Food is excellent, cooked on-site by French chefs, always a great choice and as much as you can eat. Ski & snowboard instruction is by French qualified instructors, the best in the business. Equipment is all in-house and 50% is replaced every year meaning you are always provided with quality modern kit.

Instruction – we have ski groups covering all levels from complete beginner to Off-Piste freeride experts. Each person from your group can ski or snowboard at the right level for them, ensuring progression and enjoyment. Many of our Military Groups will use our instructors for their advanced groups to go off piste but bring their own instructors to work with groups on Distributed Training Courses.

Booking – for a formal, organised group ski trip we offer a group contract with a deposit & final balance payment made in 2 separate payments. For a more flexible approach we also offer the ability to use our booking facility for your group – each person books independently and pays for their own holiday, but you still benefit from our group approach.

Discounts & Free Places – if you are a group of 20 or more, and are able to sign a formal group ski contract we can offer you discounts from the normal prices. If you prefer the “one-by-one”, no commitment booking method then we can still offer you group incentives such as Free Places.

Transport – We are fully licensed by ATOL so can arrange flight packages. We run coaches every week from the UK to the Alps, so can offer you a great price, even if your group does not completely fill a coach. We can help with the train or advise with self drive. The decision is yours!

Convenience – once you’ve experienced a UCPA holiday then you’ll know how convenient it all is. Forget separate apartments, cramming into restaurants, splitting bills, traipsing across town for lift passes & ski hire. Everybody is staying in the same building, you get your ski pass and equipment when you arrive, the ski hire is in the basement of the centre, everyone dines together and the rooms are allocated so that groups are accommodated together.

Entertainment – each centre has a bar & a nightclub, the staff organise a program of entertainment each week. We are more than happy to help organise outside activities such as ice-skating, bob-sleigh, bar crawl, hot springs, snow shoeing, ice climbing and anything else you can think of  to help make it a group ski holiday to remember!
