The Mediterranean Sea is warm and temperate, neither reaching very high or low temperatures therefore producing its own flora and fauna. Scattered with wrecks that have settled on the sandy bottom, the clear waters pose unique diving opportunities and exceptional marine life.
UCPA is the premier dive school in Europe and is recognised by Scuba Diving organisations all over the world. All of our instructors are fully qualified graduates of the state and offer training sessions and exploration according to your level. Dives last approximately 45 minutes. During the sessions, instructors combine learning and technique improvement with discovery and exploration of the underwater environment and special dive sites.
Beginners - Upon your arrival and the start of your course, you will be taught the basic rules and techniques to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment. If you would like to progress further after the week, improve your technique and dive deeper without supervision you will need to undergo further training and become certified as a diver.
Explorers - At the UCPA centre you will be able to train for and obtain your level 1 and 2 diving certificates. These certificates are recognised throughout the world. If you decide to take either the level 1 or 2, a small local charge of €56.00 will apply for the actual licence.
Medical certification to dive from your doctor - the certificate MUST have been issued less than 12 months before your holiday. If the certificate is more than 12 months old you will NOT be permitted to dive.
