Various courses designed for runners looking to achieve ultra distances. Chamonix offers a fantastic array of trails to explore along with altitude and terrain. The courses are run from UCPA Argentiere.

Level

There are courses catering for both intermediate and advanced runners. At a minimum you need to be running at least three times a week and for 2 hrs without stopping.

Course

Trail Running Preparation (5 days guiding)

Guidance on how you can improve your style, tips on how to make uphills seem less daunting, what the best equipment is and tips on what to eat before, during and after. 

Trail Running Performance TNF UTMB (4 days guided)

A course designed for those running the North Face Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc marathon or a comparable distance. Running the route, learning tricks to help you improve your time and learning how to survive the distance.

Trail Running Performance TNF CCC (5 days guided)

A course designed for those running the North Face CCC ultra marathon or a comparable distance. Providing altitude endurance training, exercises to improve your speed and strength plus 3 days running the route.

Trail Running Performance TNF TDS (4 days)

A course designed for those running the North Face TDS ultra marathon or a comparable distance. Running the route, learning tricks to help you improve your time and learning how to survive the distance.

Social

One of the nicest things about a UCPA holiday is the social aspect - it's a great way to meet new people through sharing good sporting times together. Whether you travel by yourself, or with friends you're sure to make some great new friendships through the week.
