Whether this is your first time on a board or you are hoping to perfect your cut back or aerial moves, some professional coaching will assure that you achieve your aspirations. Courses are run from both UCPA Port d'Albret and UCPA Lacanau.
This is open for complete beginners to advanced level surfers. Several groups run at the same time, so groups are formed according to ability. The intensity of the program is accessible to everyone.
You will be asked your skill level at reception and the first half day is spent making a quick check of everyone’s level to ensure that everybody is in the correct group.
Surf Safari (23 Hrs)
Head off in search of the best waves each day at some of the world’s most famous beaches. Open for anyone who can ride a wave, through to advanced level surfers. Limited groups run and the course is reserved for more advanced surfers.
Surf Full Time Instruction (23 Hrs)
Full time instruction includes 23 hours of coaching over 5 days. Progress can be made very quickly if you are determined. Suitable for all levels. Also available as a Student deal.
Surf Half Time Instruction (12 Hrs)
Half time instruction includes 12 hours of coaching over 5 days. The sessions will be tailored to suit the surf conditions and your ability level. Suitable for all levels.
Surf / Golf (23 Hrs)
Full time instruction which includes a combination of 4 lessons in golf and 4 in surf over 5 days. Suitable for all levels.
Surf / Tennis (23 Hrs)
Full time instruction where you spend time improving your tennis game and cooling off in the surf. Open for complete beginners to advanced level players or surfers.
Surf / Kitesurf (12 Hrs)
A week of half time instruction where you can make the most of the wind with your kite and the surf with your board. Suitable for beginners through to experts.
Water Experience (12 Hrs)
A great way to experience a number of water activities. Spend the week with lessons on windsurfing and cat sailing and enjoy non coached activities including beach volleyball, beach kayak and stand up paddleboarding.
Will vary from resort to resort - typically:
- Saturday - Optional arrival day
- Sunday - Arrival day, check in & meet other participants. Free day to explore the local area or relax on the beach.
- Mon - Fri - Practice with your instructor. Normally Wednesday is just a 1/2 day of instruction.
- Saturday - Departure day, morning free time, enjoy lunch, clear your room & say good bye (till the next time)
